Abstract:
Neural plasticity is one of the most important research area of developmental neurobiology. NMDA(N-Methyl-D-aspartate) receptor is one of the glutamate receptors in nervous system, which palys an important role in many biological and pathological changes, such as development of neural network, neural plasticity, learning and memory, degeneration of the neurons and so on. The studies on NMDA receptor with auditory plasticity and learning and memory were reviewed in order to make early intervention for hearing impaired children and provide a theoretical basis.
