Abstract:
Cancer stem cells (CSC) is a group of tumor cells with self-renewal ability and multidirectional differentiation potential.Studies have found that CSC exist in a variety of tumor cells and are related to the tumor growth,chemotherapy drug resistance,metastasis and relapse.Similarly,this highly tumorigenic heterogeneous group has also been found in high-risk neuroblastoma (NB) cells.There are few studies focusing on CSC in NB,but it is undeniable that CSC play an important role in the treatment and prognosis of NB.This article reviews the progress of CSC in multidrug resistance,metastasis and recurrence in NB.
