Abstract: The treatment of elderly hip fracture becomes one of key points and difficulties in clinical work in traumatic orthopedics department due to its increasing incidence rate and complicated situation. In this article ,the key points and features of prevention ,diagnostic classification and treatment of hip fracture in the elderly were briefly overviewed. And the new ideas and models in the field of elderly hip fracture therapy were summarized in order to provide a reference for the prevention and treatment of hip fracture in the elderly.
