Abstract:
Neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) can capture pathogenic microorganisms and inhibit them spreading,kill and eliminate pathogens,and participate in occurrence and development of autoimmune diseases.The steriliza-tion way of neutrophil different from chemotaxis and phagocytosis becomes a study hotspot in recent years.NETs not only appear in thrombus and plaques,they may also play an important role in formation of atherosclerotic plaques and arterial thrombus.The present article made a review on research progress of NETs participation in for-mation of atherosclerotic plaques and thrombosis.
