Abstract: Abnormal proliferation is a key point for the occurrence and development of breast cancer. p21WAF1/CIP is essential to maintain a normal growth and development of the organisms, and its dysfunction can lead to organism overgrowth. The function of p21WAF1/CIP occurs mainly in post?transcriptional and transcriptional level. Especially, the transcription regulation of p21WAF1/CIP is very important to cell cycle progression of breast cancer via epigenetic change in histone deacetylation.
