- Abstract: The incidence of diabetes is increasing not only in Korea, but also globally. Diabetes mellitus is a disease with problematic complications. Diabetic foot is a typical complication that reduces the quality of life and is a burden on the economy. Active foot examination and foot care education are methods to prevent diabetic foot at a minimum cost. Early detection, treatment, and education are the primary responsibilities of healthcare providers.
