Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the clinical use of enteral and parenteral nutrition preparations in Wuhan area to provide reference for the rational use. Methods:The consumption sum, DDDs and daily cost of enteral and parenteral nutrition preparations were retrospectively analyzed during 2014 and 2016 in 31 hospitals in Wuhan area. Results:The consumption sum and number of enteral and parenteral nutrition preparations were growing year by year. The annual growth rate of parenteral nutrition was 4.59% and 9.47%,respectively,and that of enteral nutrition was 25% and 18%,respectively. The use proportion of enteral nutrition preparations rose gradually. Conclusion:The utilization of nutrition preparations tends to be reasonable.
