Abstract:
Melanin is one of the most widely distributed natural pigments.Due to the special chemical structure of melanin,it can be used as a new theranostic media in medicine and has a great potential for clinical application.The development and perspective of the relative researches on medical therapeutic and diagnostic application of melanin were reviewed in this article.
