Abstract:
Haemocoagulase agkistrodon for injection is a kind of protein hemostatic which is purified from snake venom of Agkistrodon acutus , the hemostatic mechanism of the drug is it that the removal of fibrinogen from fibrinogen in blood can make it into monomeric fibrin after entering the body and enhance coagulation function . Preclinical results showed that the drug can significantly shortened the time of tail bleeding in mice and coagulation time of whole blood in rabbits .Clinical studies show that the medicine has a safe and effective hemostatic effect on incision in abdominal,thyroid,department of obstetrics and gynecology ,department of urology,and the hemostatic effect of thoracic incision is not obvious .In this review,the research progress on the efficacy and safety of Agkistrodon acutus thrombin in clinical hemostasis were reviewed .
