Abstract:
Objective Explore the characteristics of road traffic fatalities about electric bicycle.Methods Through collecting 217 road traffic accident cases in our city,according to gender,age,transportation ways,incident section,cause of death and such as classification statistical analysis.Results In the 217 road traffic accident cases the dead men are more than women(1.6 ∶ 1.0),73.7％ of the dead between 21 and 60 years old;the vehicles causing accident mainly were cars and trucks,31.89％ and 32.3％ respectively;53.5％ of the accident at the intersection,and the 217 road traffic accident cases on suburbs and towns more than urban area(73.3∶26.7);traffic accident high-risk period of the day is 6:00 ～8:00,17:00 ～19:00,23.0％ and 24.4％ respectively;75.6％ of the death is brain injury,31.8％ and 30.0％ death happened on the spot and rescue invalid death in the day of the road traffic accident.Conclusion We need targeted prevention based on the characteristics of road traffic fatalities about electric bicycle.
