Abstract: Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide, among which more than half of non-small cell lung cancer had been locally advanced or distant metastasis at the time of diagnosis.Therefore,it has a poor prognosis.In recent years,long non-coding RNA(lncRNA)has drawn great attention in the field of oncology.Abnormally expression of lncRNA plays an important role in the development of non-small cell lung cancer through different transcriptional, post-transcriptional or epigenetic mechanisms.This review summarizes the current literature on lncRNA in non-small cell lung cancer, introduces the functions and influences of lncRNA in the biology of non-small cell lung cancer and highlights its clinical potential value as a tumor biomarker and potential therapeutic target.
