Abstract:
Objective To investigate CT findings of pedicle torsion of ovarian cyst.Methods CT findings and clinical data of 1 6 cases of ovarian cyst torsion confirmed by pathology were analyzed retrospectively.Results All the 1 6 cases of ovarian cyst torsion were pelvic cystic-solid double mass on CT.Cystic wall demonstrated circumscribed thickening in 1 2 cases and diffused thickening in 4 cases.The solid mass appeared as the oval mass or cord-like structure,with lack of enhancement in 1 6 cases.Conclusion Ovarian cyst torsion has the characteristic CT manifestation of pelvic cystic-solid double mass.The correct diagnosis of ovarian cyst torsion could contribute to reasonable treatment in the early stage of the disease.
