- Abstract: Saliva is being attached great importance for its application in illness diagnosis and have more advantage on the diagnose in oral cavity cancer (OCC). Studies have showed that interleukin (IL) in the saliva could be used as a potential biomarker for OCC diagnosis. Moreover, they have a close connection with tumor genesis, invasion, and metastasis in OCC. Therefore, we reviewed research progress on the relationship between salivary interleukins and OCC.
