Abstract:
Objective To study the clinical significance of blood routine and partial biochemical indexes in elderly patients with fatty liver .Methods Totally 530 elderly people undergoing the physical examination in our hospital during October 2015 were se‐lected and divided into the fatty liver group(166 cases) and non‐fatty liver group(364 cases) .The blood routine ,blood lipid and liver function were detected and analyzed .Results WBC count ,eosinophil proportion (EO% ) ,hemoglobin (Hb) concentration ,RBC count ,hematocrit(HCT) ,mean corpuscular hemoglobin(MCH) ,mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration(MCHC) ,RBC distri‐bution width(RDW) and platelet distribution width(PDW) had statistically differences between the fatty liver group and the non‐fatty liver group(P<0 .01);the lymphocyte proportion ,monocytes proportion ,mean corpuscular volume(MCV) and mean platelet volume(MPV) in the fatty liver group were significantly increased(P<0 .05) and platelet(PLT) count was significantly decreased (P<0 .05) ,and the differences of other indexes had no statistical significance(P>0 .05);the levels of triglyceride(TG) ,cholesterol (TC) ,alanine aminotransferase(ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase(AST) had statistical difference between the fatty liver group and the non‐fatty liver group(P<0 .05) .Conclusion The changes of blood indexes exist in the elderly patients with fatty liver .The regular detection of blood routine ,blood lipid and liver function can be conducive to early diagnosis and treatment in the patients with fatty liver .
