Abstract:
Objective To observe the efficacy of local gene transfection in CD154 extracellular domain on the survival of renal allografts. Methods The kidneys of Brown Norway (BN) rats were transfected with CD154 extracellular domain gene recombined adenovirus. The transfected kidneys were transplanted to Lewis rats (transfection group). BN→Lewis kidney transplantation with non transplanted kidneys served as the controls. The allograft survival time and the allograft function between the two groups were compared.
