Abstract:
Objectives:To study the clinical significance of prealbumin and retinol binding protein in parenteral nutrition assessment. Methods:Serum prealbumin,retinol binding protein,transferrin and albumin were determined respectively before and a week after total parenteral nutrition(TPN) support in 40 cases with gastrointestinal diseases.
