Abstract:
Objective To evaluate left ventricular regional systolic function of long axis by pulsed wave Doppler tissue imaging (PW DTI) combined with high dose dobutamine stress echocardiography (DSE).Methods DSE was performed in 30 patients with coronary artery disease(CAD), each had at least one coronary artery ≥50% stenosis, and 25 healthy controls. In stage of baseline and peak stress,PW DTI sample volume was located on the endomyocardium at basal and middle segments of each wall.PW DTI indices included peak velocity of systolic wave (Vs),time to peak velocity (TPV) and velocity time integral (VTI).Results Segments of patients with CAD were divided into normal and ischemic segments by conditional DSE and coronary angiography. At baseline, there was no significant difference between the corresponding segments of normal controls (normal group) and ischamia of patients with CAD (ischemia group).Compared with normal group, ischemia group had significantly decreased Vs (P
