Abstract:
Objective To evaluate left ventricular diastolic function in patients with uremia by pulsed wave Doppler tissue imaging (PW DTI).Methods Conventional echocardiography and PW DTI were performed in 35 patients with uremia and 20 controls.Average DTI indices of foursites in mitral valve annulus were analyzed by PW DTI,including early diastolic peak velocity(V E),late diastolic peak velocity(V A),V E/V A ratio.Results According to ejection fraction (EF) by conventional echocardiography,the patients with uremia were divided into normal EF group and EF decreased group.Compared with controls,both normal EF and EF decreased groups significantly showed decreased V E and V E/V A (P
