Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the character of cytokines and the relationship between cytokine level and disease progression of HIV 1 positive individuals in Xinjiang and Liaoning.Methods:34 HIV 1 infected patients and 16 normal controls were selected.CD4 + T lymphocytes were measured by flow cytometry.According to 1993 USA CDC AIDS surveillance case definition for adolescents and adults,34 HIV 1 infected patients were divided into two groups,A and B.The plasma levels of the cytokines IL 12,IFN ?,IL 10,IL 6 and viral load were measured by ELISA and RT PCR respectively.Also,the cytokine levels in plasma from 16 seronegative persons were measured.Results:①Comparing with the normal controls,the level of plasma IL 12 in the infected individuals was lower(P
