Abstract:
Objective To characterize the molecular changes and their significance in pathogenesis of esophageal squamous cell carcinomas from the elderly patients (≥60 years old) at high risk area of esophageal cancer in Linzhou, Henan Province. Methods Immunohistochemical method(ABC) and histopathological method were applied to examine the expressions of P53 and Rb proteins in esophageal squamous cell carcinomas and the relationship of the expressions with the lesions and age distribution was analyzed.
