Abstract:
Purpose:To investigate the expression heat shock protein 70(HSP70) and infection of human papillomavirus(HPV) in penis carcinomas. Methods:Immunohistochemical and in situ PCR were used to detected the expression of HSP70 and HPV in 78 cases carcinomas.Results:The rate of HSP70 positive expression in penis carcinomas was 61.5%(48/78). It was significantly higher than the normal tissues (11.5%, P 0.05). HPV positive rate was 69.2%(54/78) in penis carcinomas, of which 38(70.4%) cases HSP70 positive.
