Abstract:
CDFI was performed in 20 patients with acute upper ureteral obstruction secondary to ureteral stone. Intrarenal flow of unilateral obstructed kidneys and contralateral nonobstructed kidneys was observed. Resistive index (RI) of intrarenal arteries was measured. The results showed that RI of intrarenal arteries in unilateral obstruted kidneys was elevated during acute upper ureteral obstruction with renal colic.
