Abstract:
The adult worms of Paragonimus heterotremus obtained from experimental infected rats were observed under a scanning electron microscope.24 hours after gastrogavage of albendazole 100mg/kg/d?2,the whole tegument of the worms was markedly swelled,and the posterior togument showed hollow.After 5 days the swollen tegument around the oral sucker looked like cotton fibre,the tegument around the ventral sucker showed local necrosis, and the posterior tegument still showed swollen papillae.The gut epithelium showed local necrosis and the lamella on its surface formed lumps.
