Abstract: Strategic Outline for the Develop ment of Chinese Medicine (2016-2030) was officially issued by the State Council on February 22th,2016.In regard to the practical needs and the trends of the development of Chinese medicine in China in the future,the development goals of Chinese medicine and its priorities in the next 15 years are confirmed,and comprehensive safeguards and organizational measures are developed in this outline.The outline,a programmatic document for pressing ahead with the development of Chinese medicine,also systematically discusses the layout of main targets and measures.
