Abstract:
Sarcopenia is the syndrome that occurs in the process of aging,manifesting as the progressive and extensive loss in skeletal muscle mass,muscle strength and function declines,which causes disability,loss of quality of life,and even death by the end of the disease.Skeletal muscle is the most important locomotive organ and energy metabolism tissue of the human body,and patients with COPD are at higher risk of sarcopenia due to the consumptive effects of the disease itself,insufficient nutrition intake and exercise,advanced age and so on.In this study,we aimed to review on the pathogenesis,nursing intervention of nutrition and exercise of COPD complicated with sarcopenia,in hope of providing reasonable and effective nutrition and exercise intervention plan for COPD patients complicated with sarcopenia,and promoting the disease recovery,reducing acute onset of COPD and improving the life quality of patients eventually.
