Abstract: Regional cerebral oxygenation(rSO2) is widely used in the monitoring of cerebral blood flow,which is not affected by temperature and pulsatile blood flow.rSO2monitoring gives us a new way to monitor the oxygenation status of brain regions.But,currently,rSO2research in the neonates is rare.This pa-per summarized the different pathological conditions influence on early neonatal rSO2,clarified the important clinical significance of monitoring of neonatal rSO2and the future application was prospected.
