Abstract: Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)is a non-specific,chronic intestinal inflammatory disease,and the pathogenesis of IBD is not completely clear. Mesenchymal stem cell (MSC)is a kind of pluripotent stem cell and has been widely used in the treatment of blood system diseases. Recent studies have shown that MSC has a unique advantage in the treatment of IBD. This article reviewed the advances in study on MSC in the treatment of severe IBD.
