Abstract: The authors analyzed the pros and cons for complete public transparency of medical records of medical institutions and came forward with constructive suggestions. These included standardizing and streamlining the medical records writing and combining the objective and subjective disease history;strengthening quality control of medical records and paying attention to informationization of such institutions;improving laws and norms;and strengthening publicity and deepening awareness of the public.
