Abstract: Septic shock is a life threatening healthcare problem .Initial resuscitation based on antimicrobials therapy in early stage is vital.Of note, the recent trials show that excessive fluid resuscitation would increase mortality .Thus"appropriate"goals direct-ed resuscitation is crucial to effective therapy in septic shock .In this review, we will focus on goals of septic shock resuscitation from views of hemodynamics to cells and organs .
