Abstract:
A nationwide project was conducted to establish reference values for blood lipids in Filipinos. Serum total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol and triacylglycerol were determined in 429 subjects, 299 female and 200 male from ten nation regions of the philippines. Diagnostica were used to determine the levels of blood lipids of selected subjects were based on scientifically acceptable inclusion criteria.
