Abstract:
Diabetic retinopathy is microvascular complication of diabetes mcllitus, which could eventually lead to blindness. It has been registered as the main cause of vision loss in most of the countries of the world. We are focusing on following research due to the fact that the study on risk factor of diabetic retinopathy has not been done enough in our country.
METHODS
In this study, the case control groups have been chosen from people diagnosed with ðåòèíîïàòè. HBAlc, õîëåñòåðèí diabetes, who are being under control of the endocrinological cabinets in district
health centers. 30 patients, that have been chosen randomly, have been interviewed with specially developed questions with the purpose to screen some of the risk factors and have determined some of their biochemical indicators.
RESULTS
HBA1C and cholesterol is increasing in serum levels as well as png the diabetic retinopathy stage (p<0.0l, p<0.05). Patient age, durationetes, body mass index and some of the scrum indicators have been increasedng to progression of the diabetic retinopathy stage. No statically signidifferences were founded.
CONCLUSION
HBAlc and cholesterol arc independents risk factors for diabetpathy.
