Abstract:
Intertrochanteric fracture of the femur is one of the commonfractures in the elderly. Dynamic Hip Screw (DHS) fixation is the gold standard for treatment of intertrochanteric femoral fracture. Conventional methods of achieving reduction prior to instrumentation require utilization of a traction table.
