Abstract:
This paper intends to discuss the respective characteristics of communicative competence and intercultural communicative competence in order to elaborate the feasibility and necessity of cultivating intercultural communicative competence in foreign language teaching.It also puts forward several methods which can be applied in cultural knowledge teaching.
