Abstract: Thymic carcinoid is an uncommon component of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Type 1 (MEN1).The low penetrance and the high mortality made TH-NET one of the most fatal tumor components of MEN1.Here we are discussing the pathology and pathogenesis, as well as epidemiology, screening strategy, diagnosis, therapies, and analysis of prognostic factors of thymic carcinoid associated to MEN1.
