Abstract:
Study on 215 cases of tubal-infertility that examined and diagnosed at 103 Hospital by hysterosalpingography (HSG) from 2000-2005, of that 90 cases by laparoscopy. The results showed that: the most common causes of tubal-infertility was artificial abortion (46.7%), pelvic inflammatory diseases (29.9%), intrauterine device (9.3%) and pelvic surgery (7.4%). The role of HSG and laparoscopy in the diagnosis of tubal-infertility was that: it is helpful in the investigation of the patency of Fallopian tubes, and also in the treatment of tubal occlusion with the rate of post-HSG pregnancy was 2.3%. Laparoscopy has many advantages in the diagnosis of infertility due to blocked Fallopian tubes, not only showing the accuracy in the investigation of the patency of Fallopian tubes, but also showing type of and degree of tubal damage.
