Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of moisture exposed burn ointment on the treatment of chemotherapeutics extravasation. Methods In this study, we selected 120 cases of extravasation of drugs after chemotherapy in our hospital from December 2015 to May 2017. As the object of this study, they were randomly divided into the study group and the control group (n=60) according to the number of visits. The control group were given Magnesium Sulfate wet compress on the basis of routine treatment, and the study group was received moisture exposed burn ointment. Two groups were treated continuously for 2 weeks. The clinical efficacy, wound swelling and healing time were recorded and compared. Results The clinical total efficiency in the study group (93.33%) was significantly higher than 71.67% in the control group(P<0.05); The wound swelling time and wound healing time were significantly less than those in the control group( P<0.05). Conclusion On the basis of routine treatment, moisture exposed burn ointment is used to treat extravasation of chemotherapeutic drugs, and the curative effect is remarkable.
