Abstract:
Zika virus is an arbovirus primarily transmitted by aedes aegypti mosquitoes, which is prevalent in tropical and subtropical regions. The main clinical manifestations are febricula, cutaneous rash, arthralgia, myalgia, headache, conjunctivitis, retroocular headaches, and vomiting.Zika virus is less severe.Deaths have not been reported.Zika virus infection in pregnant women can also lead to stillbirth or neonatal microcephaly.Congenital infection can also lead to neurological disorders, ophthalmological and other changes. The diagnosis mainly depends on epidemiology, clinical manifestations and laboratory examination. There is no available vaccine or treatment,so disease control is limited to the management of mosquitoes.
