- Abstract: Five body arthralgia refers to skin arthralgia, muscle arthralgia, vessel arthralgia, muscular arthralgia and bone arthralgia. The five kinds of arthral-gia syndromes of the five body arthralgia have a certain relationship with SLE in clinical manifestations.For example,SLE combined with rash, joint and muscle pain, Raynaud's disease, convulsions, avascular necrosis of the femoral head is similar to corresponding five kinds of arthralgia.SLE combined with five body arthralgia marks the exacerbation of the disease which is related to the prognosis of the disease. And the pathogenesis of the five body arthralgia is complex. This paper respectively analyses the etiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, treatment, prescription and traditional Chinese medicine of SLE with skin arthralgia,muscle arthralgia,vessel arthralgia,muscular arthralgia and bone arthralgia. Discussing the treatment of SLE should distinguish affected area of the disease, pay attention to identifing disease and selecting medicine. Exploring syndrome differentiation and treatment with TCM of SLE combined with five body arthralgia is worth learning.
