Clinical observation on treatment of hyperlipemia with Tiaozhi Huatan decoction

Abstract:
Objective To observe clinical effect of treating hyperlipemia with Tiaozhi Huatan decoction. Methods A total of 80 patients were randomly recruited into a control group and a treatment group, with 40 patients in each group. The treatment group was treated with Tiaozhi Huatan decoction, and the control group was treated with Atorvastatin. The changes in value of blood fat were observed in both groups. Results The values ofTC, TG, and LDL-C were obviously reduced after the treatment in both groups (P＜0.01), and the value of HDL-C was obviously increased in both groups (P＜0.05). There was no statistical difference between the two groups (P＞0.05). Conclusion It was effective to treat hyperlipemia with Tiaozhi Huatan decoction.
