Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To approach the administration pattern and control strategy of hospital infection(HI) in outpatient department of general hospital.METHODS The highlights of HI administration and high risk departments were investigated.Germ-carrying environment in outpatient department was monitored.RESULTS The key departments involving in HI in outpatient department comprised emergency department,outpatient operating room,injection room,transfusion room,department of stomatology,endoscope room,etc.The pathogens prevailing in outpatient consisted of Staphilococcus,Enterococcus,Pseudomonas,Escherichia coli,Klebsiella,Acinetobacter,etc.CONCLUSIONS The outpatient department is the source of HI.We should strengthen the administration of HI to eliminate the hidden danger from the source.
