Abstract:
The indication for treating adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) including development states, bending types, spinal rotation, as well as degree of deformity, but the orthosis occasionally involves in clinic. The third generation internal fixation system, such as CD, TSRH, and Chinese Greatwall system arose more attention with the advancement of spinal cube theory and internal fixation technique. Surgical treatment of scoliosis by fixation of the vertebral pedicle has superior effect in treating deformity at the sagittal/coronal plane or vertebra rotation, which can correct the three dimensional deformities of spinal column and improve patient's back appearance via revolving controlled rod.
