Abstract:
Ezrin,a member of the ERM(Ezrin/Radixin/Moesin)protein family, fuctions as a molecular linker between the cytoskeleton and the plasma membrane.Recently,it has been found to be expressed abnormally in many malignant tumors, which indicats that it plays indicative of an important role in tumor infiltration and metastasis.Ezrin influences tumor metastasis in many ways, aspects including altering tumor cell movement, regulating cell-cell adhesion, participating in signal transduction in tumor cells, inhibiting cell apoptosis and regulating the function of phagocytes.
