Abstract:
Objective To study the effects of Astragalus polysaccharide on the expression of heme oxygenase-1(HO-1)protein,moisture and the supermicro-structure of brain tissue in rats with intracerebral hemorrhagic(ICH).Methods 139 Sprague-Dawley male rats were randomly divided into sham-operation group,ICH group and Astragalus polysaccharide treatment group.ICH models were made by injection of collagenaseⅦ.Sham-operation group was instead by saline.Treatment group was administrated Astragalus polysaccharide 25 mg/kg by peritoneal injection once a day.The brain tissue specimen in every group was gathered at 12 h,24 h,48 h,4 d and 7 d respectively after operation and the score of neurological behavior in rats were observed.The expression of HO-1 in rat brain after ICH was detected with immunohistochemistry method,the moisture in brain tissue was measured at the same time.Ultrastructures of the cells around the hematoma were observed with transmission electron microscope.Results Compared with sham-operation group,the expression of HO-1 and moisture in brain tissue in ICH group and treatment group were obviously increased(all P
