Abstract:
Cervical cancer ranks second common cancer in women.More than(490 000) cases are diagnosed worldwide,resulting in 270 thousands more deaths in 2002.The effort to eliminate cervical cancer began over 50 years ago with the introduction of the Pap test.The next significant step in cervical cancer etiology came in the 1980s with the discovery of a link between human papillomaviruses(HPV) and cervical cancer.The success of HPV prophylactic vaccine development is the milestone of cervical cancer prevention of humankind.
