Abstract:
Funcoidan (FCD) is a polysaccharide extracted from Laminaria japonica Aresh. When we injected FCD into mice subcutaneously for 9 days in our experiments, splenocyte proliferation induced by mitogen (Con A, PHA, LPS), IL - 1 production of peritoneal M?induced by Lps and IL - 2 production of splenocyte induced by Con A were promoted and the primary antibody response to SRBC of murine splenocyte was also promoted. FCD could directly stimulated murine splenocyte to produce IFN - 7. FCD, in vitro or in vivo ,could enhance NK activity.
