Abstract:
Forty-six male SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups:control group(Grp 1), exhaustive swimming group(Grp 2) and recovery from swimminggroup (Grp 3). The lipid peroxidase (LPO) content and superoxide dismutase(SOD) activity of kidney, the excretion rate of total urinary protein (TUP)and the plasma angiotensin II(AII) content were measured. Their ultrastructuralchanges of kidney were investigated. It was shown that after exhaustive swimming, the LPO contents of kidney, the AII and the excretion rate of TUP increased significantly (p0.05). In Grp 3,the LPO and theexcretion rate of TP were significantly higher than Grp 2 (p
