Abstract:
Objective To develop a method for determining the content of icariin in Ruzengning Capsules. Methods A HPLC method was set up to with Hypersil ODS C18 (4.6 mm?250 mm, 5 ?m) column, and methanol-water (70 : 30) as mobile phase, the UV detection wavelength was 275 nm and the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min. Result The calibration curve was showed good linearity (r=0.9998) within the range of 0.105～0.840 ?g and the average recovery was 99.5%, RSD was 1.27% (n =6). Conclusion The method is simple and rapid, and with good reproducibility for the determination of icariin in Ruzengning Capsules.
