Abstract:
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of self-prepared Mingmu Dihuang Decoction(MDD)combined with laser therapy for the treatment of diabetic retinopathy(DR)with liver-kidney deficiency.MethodsOne hundred and thirty-six DR patients(involving 210 eyes)were randomized into 3 groups:the combination group(68 eyes in 43 patients)received laser therapy combined with MDD,laser therapy group(63 eyes in 42 patients)received laser therapy alone,and MDD group(79 eyes in 51 patients)received MDD alone.The pathological changes of eyesight and retina were observed before and after treatment.Results The improvement of eyesight in the combination group was superior to that in the laser therapy group(P0.05).The effect on retinal neoformative vessels was better in the combination group and laser therapy group than that in MDD group(P0.05).And the effect on retinal bleeding,edema and time for absorbing exudation was better in the combination group than that in MDD group and laser therapy group(P
