The results of laparoscopic surgery in obstetrics and gynecology at the Military Hospital N0 103 from 2000 to 2005

Abstract:
The cross-sectional study was carried out in 236 patients treated by laparoscopic surgery in obstetrics and gynecology, Military Hospital N0 103 from 2000 to 2005 to evaluate the results of this surgery. During 5 years, 236 surgeries were performed by laparoscopy including ectopic pregnancy, fallopian tubal infertility, benign ovarian cyst… For fallopian tubal infertility, the pregnancy rate postoperative accounted for 7-52% depend on each methods. Laparoscopic surgery showed many advantages: less complications shorten time of treatment, spent money... However, it is likely to have abdominal injury, expensive cost, lack of skilled surgeons, only suitable for center hospitals. It is necessary to carefully consider its indications. In addition, the authors also give some experiences about difficult surgeries to improve laparoscopic surgery.
