Abstract:
Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy and analysis influence factors on treatment of the aged COPD with acute respiratory failure by using harmless bi-level positive airway pressure. Method:Twenty-five patients who were identified the aged COPD with acute respiratory failure were divided into two groups randomly:13 in treatment group in which BiPAP was used in addition of conventional treatment;12 in control group in which nasal catheter oxygen inhalation was used. The change of the arterial blood gas and the clinical performance were observed before and 2 hours、72 hours 、120hours after treatment.
